The vast majority (88%) of marketers believe their organization must increase its use of automation and AI to stay competitive in the current business climate, according to a recent study from Mailchimp. However, only 50% have adopted it.
Mailchimp is trying to close this gap with the launch of Intuit Assist in Mailchimp, a Gen AI-powered marketing assistant designed to help companies generate content, personalize marketing, and optimize their marketing strategy by unlocking insights from customer data.
In-line email editing enhancements and generated new product announcements are available now to select customers in the US, UK, Australia, and Canada in beta.
More Robust AI Features in the Pipeline
There are more robust Intuit Assist capabilities in the pipeline, designed to make marketers’ lives easier, including:
- Automated audience segment creation
- Content optimization features that will enable marketers to repurpose content effectively
- Ecommerce automations, such as new customer welcome messages and abandoned cart retargeting
- Automatic email drafting capabilities to support customer relationship management
With the launch of Intuit Assist by Mailchimp, Succar reaffirmed the company’s commitment to data privacy, security and responsible AI governance, noting that Intuit “safeguards customer data and protects privacy using industry-leading technology and practices, and adheres to responsible AI principles that guide how the company operates and scales its AI-driven expert platform, with its customers’ best interests in mind.”
