Bark, an omnichannel dog brand and creator of the beloved BarkBox, is expanding its partnership with Shopify in order to streamline its operations. The company plans to migrate all of its business units, including BarBox.com and SuperChewer.com, to its Bark.co Shopify platform by the end of fiscal 2025. By integrating its ecommerce operations and experiences into one centralized platform, Bark is positioned to get a centralized view of sales and customer behaviors.

Expanding this partnership “marks an important milestone in unifying our commerce platform and ensuring we have the right infrastructure to reach more dog parents and support long-term, scalable growth,” said Zahir Ibrahim, Chief Financial Officer of Bark. “With Shopify, we’re poised to gain valuable insights into customer behavior, improve our ability to cross-sell, drive operational efficiency, and most importantly, bring more joy to dogs and their people everywhere.”

Bark representatives also note that migrating all sites to Shopify will help the company be more agile and innovative. Team members will be able to quickly deploy features as they’re released, adapt to market trends and effectively respond to consumer expectations. Ultimately, this will help the brand achieve its goals across key performance indicators, such as traffic, conversions, average order value and retention.
